Paul Lamar Pitts, 82, of Hickory, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Rosewood Assisted Living in Harmony, NC.
Born October 15, 1941 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Will and Grace Reece Pitts.
Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Quez Pitts and sisters, Christine Saine, Nina Brittain, and Wilma Price.
A member of Mtn. Grove Baptist Church, Paul was the retired owner of Pitts Appliance Repair. He loved his family and especially loved his Bulldog, Stinky.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Milstead Pitts of the home; three sons: Christopher Pitts, Corey Pitts and his wife Amber, and Matt Pitts; daughter, Donna Weikel and husband Earl; grandson, Josh Weikel; two brothers-in-law, John Milstead and Bill Milstead and his wife Debbie; special niece, Kathy Bollinger; niece, Tina Sain; and five nephews: Danny and Cecil Price; and David, Terry, and Don Sain.
No services will be held at this time.
