Paul R. Rang

Paul R. Rang age 74, of Toledo, and formerly of Oregon, OH passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Health Park Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL., during his and his wife's annual winter stay. He was born on February 8, 1951 in Toledo, OH to John and Eunice (Grove) Rang. While blessed with 2 daughters from a previous marriage, Paul found love again and on December 30, 1990 he married Mary Schroeder in Sarasota, FL. Paul and Mary blended their families and celebrated almost 36 years of marriage together.
Paul worked as a buyer for the hardware wholesale distributor Bostwick-Braun for over 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose, the VFW, and was the 2002 Commodore of the Toledo Sailing Club. Paul was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends both in Toledo and Florida, and especially at a family cabin in Northern Michigan. Whether up north or down south, he was always up for a game of Euchre. However, his greatest enjoyment was his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Mary, Paul is survived by his daughters: Jennifer (Nick) Otersen, Janel Luker, and step daughter, Beth (Bob) Matthews. Grandchildren: Kaitie, Emily, Ella, Maya, step grandchildren: Madeleine, and Wesley. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and step daughter, Dawn Dahne.
The family will host a memorial gathering at a future date to be announced. Paul will be laid to rest also at a future date in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH.
