Dear Rinker family members, I have never met most of you personally, but have heard of many wonderful memories and stories (especially of children and grandchildren) that Paul shared over the last 15 years. I know Paul because my family and I rented our house from him (and Edith) for 10 years before buying it from them 5 years ago. Every month when rent was due, I would personally deliver my check because I looked forward to the long talks we had, and will never forget the knowledge and wisdom he shared. Our children always loved when "Mr. Rinker" would stop over to fix something or check on things because he would patiently listen and respond to their endless questions about everything he was doing while here. There isn't enough space to write about the many blessings Paul (and Edith) so graciously gave our family, and I struggle to put into words how much they truly mean to us. I'm so grateful for the last talk we had, and that I was able to express to Paul our love and appreciation for him and his wife, and to thank him. We will never forget Paul, and look forward to the day we meet again in heaven. Our hearts morn with you at this time, and our hopes and prayers are with you all, that God grant you grace, peace, and comfort during this time of loss.
Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Sincerely Chad and Shalynn Hoffman and family

To the family of Paul Rinker, please accept my sincere condolences. He was a fantastic Postmaster, but even better as a human being. He was very smart and also very funny. Every single employee at the Bucyrus Post Office loved him and sure hated to see him retire. He was one of a kind, and I was a better employee because of him. I'll keep the Rinker family in my prayers and God bless all of you!
