Paul A. Roy, 70, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, with his loving family at his side.

Born in Lowell, MA, he is the son of the late Albert and Claire Roy. Raised and educated in Lowell, Paul married the love of his life, Penny Giddings, 1992. The couple settled in Manchester to raise their family.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, family was paramount in Paul’s life. He cherished time with his family, especially with his grandson and best friend, Marcel. Paul enjoyed archery, bowling and playing round after round of cribbage with his son, Glen. An avid outdoorsman, Paul found serenity exploring the woods and relishing the fresh air. In their younger years, Paul enjoyed deer hunting with his brother-in-law, Kim. A fan of country music, Paul also loved watching old country western movies. Paul will be best remembered for his sense of humor and love of family.

Paul is survived by his wife, Penny, with whom he shared nearly 32 years of marriage; his daughter, Kara Roy; two sons, Ryan Roy and Glen Roy and fiancée Ashlee, all of Manchester; four grandchildren, Echo, Landon, Marcel, and Bryson; three sisters, Lillian, Jeannie and Lorraine; brother, Roger Roy; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Paul’s Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Tuesday, January 7, from 4:00 to 8:00P.M. Friends and relatives invited.
