Paul Schroth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Funeral Homes - Hickey Chapel on Aug. 30, 2025.
Paul Robert Schroth, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Connie (Marzullo) Schroth; his daughter, Ashley McGregor, son-in-law Tyler McGregor and his grandchildren, Charlie, Thomas and Henry, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. He is also remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Judy Marzullo, nieces and nephews and many dear friends in Massachusetts and Florida.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth (O'Sullivan) Schroth, his sister Jane Lemire, brother-in-law Hank Lemire and brothers, Walter "Bud" Jr. and Edward Schroth.

Paul was born on December 13, 1947 in Milton, MA. He proudly served in the United States Air Force after high school and following an honorable discharge, pursued a career in furniture sales. A New Englander for almost his whole life, he was an avid Boston sports fan, listening to Red Sox games on WEEI until his final days. He loved the ocean and was only coaxed away from his beloved Massachusetts and Florida by the prospect of spending time with his grandsons in Indiana.

His family will remember his dry humor, his love of the Rolling Stones, and his ability to find all the ice cream Connie hid in the back of the freezer (a trait he has lovingly passed on to his grandsons). They know he is now at peace, with his loyal canine companions, Clarabella and Oliver, meeting him in heaven.

Per Paul's wishes, cremation will take place. No services will be held at this time and burial will take place at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home ~ Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul was as sweet a pal as I ever had...I thought of him often despite not having seen him for a long while...our loss is heaven“s gain. I have to believe we shall all meet again. Heartfelt sympathy to Connie and all who were close to him. He was special.
