Paul Glenn Sheffield
Born November 11,1968 in Lancaster, CA. Passed away September 24, 2023, in Lancaster, CA.
Paul attended St. Mary's Elementary school in Palmdale, CA. Graduated from Palmdale High School in 1986. During high school, Paul was a member of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Explorer Scouts. Paul was inducted into the Palmdale High School Hall of Fame in 2014. He started his career in the United States Navy in 1986. After a lengthy career as a cryptologic technician, his last duty station was at the Pentagon in Washington DC. He received numerous medals and honors including United States Navy Sailor of the Year in 1999 and 2000 and Sailor of the Quarter multiple times. He was honorably discharged in September 2001 after serving 15 years due to a serious accident leaving him with a severe spinal injury.
Upon his return to Palmdale, he was the security representative for the U2 project at Lockheed Martin Plant 42. He retired from Lockheed and began a new career in real estate with Stephan B Marvin Real Estate, Trevor Jones and Joe Mayol Real Estate and most recently ReMax AllPro up until the time of his death.
Paul is survived by his loyal canine companion, Max. Mother Dee Benson, stepfather Jerry Benson. Daughter, Stephanie Mielbeck and grandchildren, Calvin, Amelia and Riley Mielbeck. Daughter, Rachel Sheffield and grandson Fisher. Sister, Stacy Chamness (Shannon). Nephew Michael Noble (Kristen) and great nephew Mikey Noble. Nephew Robert Noble (Staci). Many cousins, aunts, uncles and many many friends.
Proceeded in death by his Father, Glenn "Bordie" Sheffield. Grandparents, Glenn and Naomi Sheffield and Lewis and Leila Owens.
Services will be held Saint Junipero Serra Catholic Church 42121 60th St. W. Quartz Hill, CA. 93536. Monday, October 2nd at 10am
