Paul L. Struble

Paul L. Struble, 54, of Castana, Iowa passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his brother Bill's home in Soldier, Iowa. Memorial graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Jordan Cemetery, rural Soldier, Iowa with Sue Terry officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa. Paul Lewis was born on August 10, 1958, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Russell and Betty (McLaughlin) Struble. He attended school at East Monona. He was a lifelong farmer in Jordan Township, rural Soldier, Iowa. Paul enjoyed watching wildlife, feeding birds, and found great enjoyment in his ham radio skills and friendships. He was a member of the Boyer Valley Amateur Radio Club and served as the A.R.E.S. coordinator. Paul is survived by his father, Russell (Daisy) Struble of San Benito, TX; his mother, Betty Blackford of Flippin, AR; a sister, Phylis (Vic) Sanchez of Austin, TX, four brothers, Wm. R. (Bill) Struble of Soldier, IA, Charles Struble of St. Petersburg, FL, James (Terri) Struble of Middleville, MI, and Daniel Struble of Atlantic Beach, FL; six nieces & nephews; eight grand nieces & nephews; and extended family and friends in Monona County. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Carol Struble.
