Paul Richard Travis, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born January 9, 1935, in Ashland, Kentucky to the late James Travis and Lura (White) Travis.
He is survived by his children, Sonny (Shery) Travis, James (Evelyn) Travis, and Doug (Lisa) Travis; grandchildren, Paul III (Kris) Travis, Tracey (Nathan) Chandler, Rose (Brandon) Campbell, Elizabeth (Justice) McEwing; and several great grandchildren.
Paul was a certified automotive mechanic with S ohio and Exxon Service Garage, and he was a big supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louis (Miracle) Travis; daughter, Rose Mary Travis; grandsons, Curtis Muncy and David Travis.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11-1 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in CM Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
