I remember Paul as always having a twinkle in his eye. He brought laughter to all and was a kind, caring man. Our memories of him will be cherished.

Paul was a great neighbor who will be deeply missed! He had a great sense of humor and made the Halloween holiday amazing for all the kids and adults too in the neighborhood. He was at most neighborhood bon fires and often sang with the Christmas Carolers. When the neighborhood had a garage sale, his garage sales was always the most fun to go to as you never knew what he would be selling and you couldn't leave without buying something that you didn't even know you were looking for until he convinced you that you were LOL! He was a caring man who collected money to fight cancer. When a neighbor passed, he was always there to attend their service; that is why I am especially sad that we could not attend his. We will remember him in our own way and will always cherish our time with him. Love, the O'Connell family.

We met Paul through his old friend, and our neighbor, Joe Naylor. Those two always had smiles and stories to share. Through the few years we got to know him, Paul's humor, kindness, caring and honor was a lesson to behold. Being of a 'younger generation', I often held him a little bit in awe, as one would to an elder that taught by example. Both Bruce and I loved being around Paul, and would always comment on that when we had the chance. We didn't get to see as much of him when Joe had to leave.... and the last time we saw Paul was this fall at Joe's Memorial Service. Paul was still being the good friend that we always saw him to be...making sure that Joe's service went "right". His loyalty and true friendship touched my heart that day. I will ALWAYS remember him smiling and joking with us to bring laughter to all around. I am grateful to have known this man, Paul Vail, and thankful to have felt his Spirit touch mine. Namaste.

I met Paul many years ago when he visited my art studio. Paul had a depth of knowledge and was eager to learn about so many things.
Over the course of his visits, I learned a lot. Paul shared his knowledge and experience with everyone. His visits always made for a nicer day !
