Paula Atwater Obituary
Paula Mary Bistodeau, age 77 of Maple Grove, MN, passed away on March 28, 2026 from ALS. She was born on March 16, 1949 in Albertville, MN to Butch and Leah Bistodeau.
Survived by life partner, David Oihus and his family; brothers, Dale (Mary Sue) Bistodeau and David (Cindy) Bistodeau; sister, Kay (Brian) McDonald; many nieces and nephews that she loved so much: Craig (Jill Oeffling) Bistodeau, Becky (Bob) Drobinski, Jason (Sarah) Bistodeau, Megan McDonald, Matthew (Chris Dove) McDonald, Danica (James) Lindorff, Rylan Bistodeau, Logan Bistodeau, Duncan Bistodeau, Jordan Drobinski, Jack (Kendall) Drobinski, Charlotte Bistodeau, Paisley Lindoff, and Ivy Lindorff.
Preceded in death by her parents and niece Brigette Bistodeau.
Paula loved to bake and her pies were the best around. She specialized in apple, fresh peach, and strawberry pies. She also made delicious quick breads, bars, and cookies. Every holiday she would always arrive with bags full of her homemade treats.
She was generous with her time and gifts, especially to all the great and great-great nieces and nephews. We will miss her and were all so sad to see her suffer thought her terrible illness. She's at peace now with Mom, Dad, and Bridgette – plus all the wonderful aunts and uncles that passed before her.
