This picture shows Paula's personality to a tee. Always smiling, having fun, doing for others, being Christ like. Paula was one of my dearest friends. We went to high school together and have stayed close until she went to be with her parents. Steve and her children were her life. She was one of the most Christ like person I know. Love ya Paula. Until we meet again. Kathy McGlone

Dear President Bateman,
I was extremely saddened to learn of Paula's passing. I express my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Paula was a shining light, and a selfless disciple of the Savior. She was amazing.
I express my love to you and your children. I often reflect on the River Stake years----it is clear that I left a portion of my heart there when our family moved, because families like yours are never forgotten.
I want you to know that I enjoyed serving with you, and I always loved being in your presence. I appreciated your friendship, and greatly admired your commitment to the Savior.
I truly love all of the Bateman families. You are heroes to me.
I pray that the Savior will bless us with peace as we mourn our loss.

This great lady was a leader to young women . A pleasant human being who made you feel comfortable no matter your age or background.
She had her last child the same time I had my first child. 1985. I'm sure her children call her blessed mother.
Love, Ruth Ann Michaelson Harrison.
