Paula Noreen Means (Kubik), of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her residence
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Helms Funeral Home, 306 East Water Street, Decorah, Iowa, with Pastor Randy Kittelson presiding. Burial to follow at Union Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday.
The family suggests that contributions be made to American Legion Post 158 in Jackson and Semo Pets in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 16, 1955, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Walter and Arla (Folkedahl) Kubik.
Paula was a retired assistant manager for Dollar General.
Loving survivors include sons Shaun Means of Cape, Brandon Means of LaPort, Texas, and David Tollefson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Daughters Chantell Means of Jackson, Missouri, and Amy Halweg of Decorah, Iowa. Grandchildren Wyatt, Jace, Lexus, Johnathan, Sebastian, Sophie, Emma, Jenna, and Ryan. Brothers Steve Kubik and Michael Kubik, and sisters Kim Gossman and Karla Farland.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terry Kubik.
