Paula Mancarella Obituary
Paola "Paula" (nee Carrubba). December 29, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Antonio "Tony" Mancarella. Devoted mother of Maria (James) Daisy, Nella (Robert) Weiner-Mancarella, and Sebastiano "Ben" (Rosemarie) Mancarella. Nonna of Antonio Tucker (Louis Blum), James (Jennifer) Daisy, Nicholas (Stephanie) Daisy, Salvatore (Jessica) Scafidi, Alexia (Brandon) Croulet, Nicole (Seth) Locker, and Olivia Mancarella. Great-grandmother of James Jonathon Daisy. Sister of Maria (late Giuseppe) Lombardo, Sebastiano "Ben" (Diane) Carrubba. Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Paula was born in Solarino, Sicily and married the love of her life Tony. They moved to America in their early twenties and settled in Philadelphia. Paula began working as a seamstress and Tony as a Chef. Eventually they saved enough money to start a business. They owned and operated the Royal Villa Café at 17th & Jackson Sts in South Philadelphia for over 30 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to her VIEWING Saturday January 3, 2026 9:30AM at the Church of St. Richard, 18th & Pollock Sts., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. ENT. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation PO Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178.
