Paula Suzanne Maples

Paula Suzanne Maples, age 67, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born on March 25, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona, Paula was the daughter of Jack Allison Gray and Barbara Maxine (Smith) Gray. On December 27, 1974, she married the love of her life, Robert Dean Maples, with whom she shared an enduring partnership. Known for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and gentle spirit, Paula had a remarkable ability to recognize and respond to the unseen needs of others. A master puzzler and gracious gift giver, she touched the lives of those around her in a quiet, yet meaningful way. Her kindness, insight, and generosity will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Paula leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care that will live in the hearts of many. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Maxine Gray; her father, Jack Allison Gray; her mother-in-law, Bonnie Breedlove Maples.
Paula is survived by her husband, Robert Dean Maples of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her son, Geoffrey Dean Maples and wife, Dana of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her daughter Allison Suzanne Medley and husband, Chris of Corinth, Texas; three granddaughters, Liberty Sunshine Boztoprak and husband, Isa of Amsterdam, Eden Raine Maples of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Landrie Mae Medley of Corinth, Texas; four grandsons, Sterling Fisher Dean Maples, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Deacon Coberly Hill Maples of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Foster Gray Medley of Corinth, Texas, and Lincoln Isaiah Medley of Corinth, Texas; three brothers, Mike Gray and wife, Linda, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Donald Gray and wife, Sandra, of Gentry, Arkansas, and Randy Gray and wife, Melanie of Farmington, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Julie Honeycutt, and husband, Kevin, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; father-in-law, Joseph Dean Maples of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and their children.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at New Life Church with Pastor Tim Estes and Pastor Vance Eubanks officiating.
