Paula Kay Molta (née Howard), aged 80, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in Laguna Woods, CA. Born in Los Angeles, she has called many California regions home during her lifetime, including Riverside County, San Francisco, Carlsbad and eventually Orange County.
Paula is remembered as a loving mother and doting grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her life was marked by her dedication to her family and her faith. She was an active member of Grace Hills Church, where she devoted much of her time and energy serving others.
Paula's love for sports made her a lively presence at games, always cheering and supporting with enthusiasm. Her spirit and energy were felt by those around her, whether on the baseball field, football turf or golf course.
She leaves behind a loving family: her children, Bobbi (Randy) Kersey, Brett Lindsey, and Matt (Christy) Lindsey; her siblings, JR Howard, Linda Gray, and Marianne (Kevin) Morrett; and her cherished grandchildren, Brian (Ashley) Kersey, Chris (Andie) Kersey, Wyatt (Tesla) Lindsey, Saydee Lindsey, Hudson Lindsey, and Cooper Lindsey. Paula was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her sister, Debbie.
A service to honor Paula's life will be held on October 5th at 11am at Grace Hills Church in Laguna Woods. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
