Paula Evelyn (Terreta) Skrobot, 77, of Whitehall, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th, 2024.
Paula was born August 1, 1946, to Paul and Angeline (Loverdi) Terreta.
Paula loved to cook/bake and host gatherings at her house. She was happiest when she was surrounded by people eating her delicious food (which she could make out of anything in her fridge or cabinets) with red wine and lots of laughter. She was known to have the best Christmas Eve celebrations, and that was her favorite time of year. She served Whitehall City Schools for thirty-two years as a secretary and touched the lives of many children who would always greet her with a hug whether it be in the local Kroger or at the annual Holy Spirit Church Festival. She was an avid gardener who enthusiastically got her hands dirty in the Spring and Summer while listening to the sounds of the birds around her. She took walks daily in her neighborhood where she was greeted by neighbors and especially loved walking to the local park to look at the ducks. Paula loved her house and took pride in her decorating. She was very creative and artistic whether it was decorating the house or creating gift baskets. She loved her children with her whole heart. Not a day would go by without a phone call, or several to just say "I love you".
Paula will be deeply missed by her daughter Erica Conley (Shaun); sons Chris Skrobot and Patrick Bono; her sisters Vickie Taylor and Jean Eisenhuth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph Terreta and sister Bunny Moser.
A funeral mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a Celebration of Life will be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A Living Tribute at the link here.
