Paula M. Wagner went home to be with her Personal Lord and Savior on November 13, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on May 25, 1946, to Edward and Winifred (Staddler) Ziebell of Manitowoc. Paula graduated from Holy Family Academy of Manitowoc in 1964. She worked for Natural Ovens for 16 years and UnitedOne Credit Union for 4 years before retiring in 2008. She married Tony Wagner of Manitowoc on May 15, 1993.

Paula is survived by her husband: Tony Wagner; children and step-children: Jason (Stephanie) Fredrick of Windsor, WI, Jennifer (Michael) Ray of Manitowoc, Scott (Marcy) Wagner of Murray, NE, Shannon Wagner of Plattsmouth, NE, Brett (Barb) Wagner of Nehawka, NE, Christopher (Denise) Wagner of Manitowoc and Daniel (Lexi) Wagner of Reedsville, WI.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Olivia Fredrick, Savanna Fredrick, Henry Fredrick, Miles Fredrick, Taylor (Trevor) McCulley, Alissa (Hunter) Sadler, Emma Wagner, Kate (Colton) Koss, Audrey Wagner, Paige (David) Holmes, Shelby Drake, Devin (Myah) Wagner, Cody (Samantha) Wagner, Noah Wagner, Rebecca (Nick) Rayner, Shane Wagner, Bridget Wagner, Brooke Crosby, Spencer Rayer, Joseph Rayer, Halsey Holmes, Addison Wagner, Braeden McCulley and Scott Sadler.

Paula's extended family includes: Kathryn Ziebell of Woodstock, GA, Andrea (Terry) O'Connor of Woodstock, GA, Jonathan (Rebecca) Ziebell of Seattle, WA, Melissa Ziebell of Wrightstown, WI, Traci Ziebell of Green Bay, WI, Matt (Charlotte) Wagner of Manitowoc, Charles (Kathy) Wagner of Valders, WI, Ray Wagner of Manitowoc, Nick (Karin) Wagner of Newton, WI, Paul (Penny) Wagner of Manitowoc, John (Cathy) Wagner of Manitowoc, Richard Wagner of Manitowoc, Mike (Bev) Wagner of Algoma, WI, Joe (Marie) Wagner of Roundup, MT, Mark Wagner of Albany, OR, Mary (Dave) Gofford of Hilbert, WI, Susan Wagner of Manitowoc, Kathy (John) Fischer of Manitowoc, Sharon (Claude) LeClair of Jefferson, WI, Kelly Joy Chambers of Manitowoc, Carrie (Bill) Berg of Manitowoc, Garry (Jane) Gates of Appleton, WI, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Allen Ziebell and Ken Ziebell, maternal grandparents Anton and Rose (Engeldinger) Staddler, paternal grandparents Charles and Bertha Ziebell and brothers-in-law Peter Wagner and Tom Wagner.

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. To honor Paula and her unwavering strength in her fight, we ask that you wear purple, her favorite color. We also encourage friends and family to learn more about the symptoms of pancreatic cancer for early detection, to support ongoing research, and to always cherish every moment you have with those you love.

A celebration of Life to honor Paula's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at Community Life Church, 633 S. 20th Street Manitowoc, WI 54220, relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. There will be a lunch immediately following.
