Pauletta June Elmore Basham

Pauletta June Basham, 91, of Bowling Green passed away October 14, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Barren County native was born May 5, 1933 to the late Paul R. and Mildred Gunnells Elmore. She is also preceded by her husband of 43, Joe Basham; children, Paula Rust, Norman J. Basham, and Pam Stiles; grandchildren, Cody White and Jamie O. Basham; brother, Jimmy Elmore; and sister, Francis Groce. She was a member and attended Faith United Methodist Church. June retired Holley Carburetor as an assembly line inspector. She loved to garden, quilting, and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Barry Moore (Jamie) of Russellville, Jody Basham, and Josh Simpson (Amy) both of Bowling Green; daughter-in-law, Anna Basham; great-grandchildren, Shelby Moore, Riley Moore, Huntley Moore, J. Tucker Basham, Brody Basham, Abigail Basham, Madison Simpson, Allison Simpson, and Zander Bradford; brothers, Bobby 'Buck' Elmore (Sue) and Paul David Elmore (Linda); sister, Joyce White
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place next to her husband at Fairview Cemetery #2.
