Paulette Davis

Glenda Paulette Edelhauser Davis, 80, of Wolfe City passed away Tuesday night, March 10, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family.  Born July 16, 1945, to Paul and Christine (Hoffman) Edelhauser.  Paulette worked at Covidien in Commerce as the Purchaser/Payroll clerk for 17 1/2 years until she retired in December 2012.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her joy for life and her giving nature.  She loved her flowers of all kinds, reading, listening to music, sewing, quilting, gardening and talking/visiting with family and friends.

Paulette's faith was as strong as she was; being a Sunday School teacher for several years at Trinity Lutheran, as well as Secretary and then Treasurer for over 15 years at Zion Lutheran and being her church Chapter Secretary of LWML (Lutheran Woman in Mission).

She is survived by her husband of 61 years (December 5, 1964) Joe T.A. Davis, a son Joe Davis, Jr of Venus, Tx and 2 daughters Ladonna (Davis) Haggard and husband Clarence and Darina Davis, all of Wolfe City, Tx; 6 grandchildren: James Dorris, Amanda Davis Franz and husband Cody, Jynifer Davis, Jonathan Haggard and wife Morgan, Skylar Haggard and Charlyn Davis; 2 great grandchildren: Monty Haggard and Iris Haggard.  She is also survived by her sister Linda Northcutt of Point, Tx and a brother Garland Edelhauser and wife Judy of Wolfe City, 2 nieces Dawn Manning-Priebe and Katy (Edelhauser) Russell and 3 nephews: Jay Paul Manning, Matthew Wedgeworth and Jerrod Edelhauser.

Paulette is preceded in death by both parents, a brother Paul Charles Edelhauser and a sister Leverne Marie (Edelhauser) Wedgeworth.

Family night will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Jones-Walker & Son at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Art Farrow officiating.  Pallbearers will be Charlyn Davis, Brian Deterding, Jonathan Haggard, Jesse Heer, Mark Kruger and Jay Paul Manning.

Graveside service will be at Sawyer Cemetery in Sawyer, OK at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
