Paulette Raye Rush

Alan, Paulette was such a talented and bright lady who loved my baby brother all of his adult life. Many thanks to her for being your bride. So glad you two could share your music, your family and so many other things, all of your lives.
Alan, Michael, Aaron, Barbara and families, wish I could be there in person, but I am with you in prayer and spirit.

Allen, you may remember my wife Neva and I when we rented one of your apts on Stevens Street in 1972 just after we were married. Paulette was only 26 and Neva and I only 20 and 24, respectively. I remember Paulette as a very cheerful person and remember you both as very kind and attentive landlords. We left Winfield for Topeka in the Summer of 1976 after our daughter Kerry was born in April and I finished paramedic training in June. It has been a very long time but we both still remember our stay there with fondness and being able to know both of you for a short time. Very sorry to hear of Paulette's passing but hope your family's good memories of her will be of comfort to all of you. Take care Allen.

I remember the day she was born. I was SO thrilled to have a new niece in my life. She brought a great deal of joy to anyone who knew her. I will always love you, Paulette!

Our sweet cousin, Paulette will be missed so much. She always made everyone feel special and loved with her heart-felt interest in others and her smile and laugh. Thank the Lord that she was in our lives. Prayers of comfort to Alan, Michael, Aaron, Barbara and families. Thankful she is pain-free in heaven with those who have gone on before us.

To Allen and all family, Paulette was a thoughtful and kind lady. When my daughters were born she sent me a rose in floating water. No one else did that for me. We have lost a very special lady in our world and those of us who were privileged to know Paulette will miss her gracefulness.

I remember Paulette as a beautiful, elegant teenager on the school bus. I looked up to her and admired her, I thought she was as beautiful as a movie star! The Kerrs and the Marlers (I'm a Marler child) were neighbors. I'm saddened by her passing, but now I imagine her even more beautiful, dancing with angels! My heart goes out to her family. Sending you prayers for peace and light.
