Pauline Laura Helstrom Everett Tompkins

Washburn ME & Allenstown, NH - Pauline L. Tompkins, 94, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her residence in Allenstown, New Hampshire, with her family by her side. She was born May 31, 1931, in Presque Isle, ME, the daughter of Eugene and Blanche (Oliver) Smith.
Pauline grew up in Washburn and graduated from Washburn High School. She worked at Sherwin Williams for many years.
Pauline had an unwavering love for her family and friends. Her generosity and kindness extended into every facet of her life. She had an infectious laughter and enjoyed singing, playing shuffle board, knitting, and collecting photos of ancestors.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Steven Helstrom and his wife Rebecca of Washington State, Victor Helstrom of Washburn, ME, Paul Helstrom and his wife Sherry of Allenstown, NH, stepsons, Jerry Everett and his wife Marilyn of Sherman, ME, Kenneth Everett and his wife Mary of Wescosville, PA, and stepdaughters, Louise Woodbury and her husband, Elliot of Lisbon Falls, ME, Holly Setzer and her husband Tim of Florida, Rolanda Roake and her husband Scott of Florida. Pauline also leaves behind two grandsons, Robert Helstrom of Ohio, Tyler Helstrom and his wife Michelle of Northfield, NH, step grandsons, Mark Woodbury, Trever Fanjoy and his wife Natasha of Hookset, NH, Seth Knight and his wife Katina of Florida, Jacob Knight and his wife Penny of Florida, Nathan Everett, step granddaughters, Amber Tardie of Winterville, ME, Chelsee Delisle and her husband Peter of Alton, NH, Maest Woodbury, Amy Will, Deborah Gabarro, and Diana Jones, as well as many great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by a son, Peter John Helstrom, a granddaughter Brittany Pauline Helstrom, husbands, Robert Helstrom, Gerald Everett, and Roland Tompkins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Perham, ME, with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, ME 04769.
