Mrs. Pauline Davis
Martin, age 91, formerly of
Toccoa, passed away Fri-
day, Oct. 10, 2025, at The
Oaks at Scenic View As-
sisted Living in Baldwin,
Ga.
A daughter of the late
Anderson H. Davis and
Mozelle Smith Davis, she
was born April 8, 1934, in
Stephens County, Georgia,
where she had lived the
majority of her life. She
was employed with
Wright's Manufacturing
Company and later retired
from Stephens County
Hospital. She was a mem-
ber of Hill Street Baptist
Church and according to
church records she was
possibly the longest
tenured member. She
loved watching and at-
tending sporting events
when her children, grand-
children and family
played. She enjoyed fol-
lowing the Atlanta Braves
and the Georgia Bulldogs
on TV. She was a loving
mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. Her fa-
vorite things included
baking cakes for friends,
cooking for her family,
shopping, and annual
Davis family summer va-
cations at Gulf Shores.
In addition to her par-
ents, she was preceded in
death by her husband,
Donald "Duck" Martin
and by her sisters, Mary
Davis and Connie Vinson
and brothers, Morris
Davis and Jesse Davis.
She is survived by her
sons and daughters-in-law,
Randy and Sherrill Mar-
tin, of Hoschton, Ga. and
Roger and Leona Martin,
of Cumming, Ga.; grand-
children, Shannon Martin,
Shane and Ashley Martin,
Davis and Hannah Martin
and Will Martin; two
great-grandchildren, Liam
Lloyd and Megan Martin;
sister, Carol Davis (Judd
Putnam), of Marietta, Ga.;
brothers, Donnie Davis
(Cheryl), of Clarkesville,
Ga. and Mark Davis (Deb-
bie), of Loganville, Ga.;
and a number of nieces
and nephews; sister-in-
law, Elver Davis.
Funeral services will be
Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at 2
p.m. in the Hillcrest
Chapel of the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home with the
Rev. Paul Garrison offici-
ating. The following gen-
tlemen will serve as pall-
bearers: Shane Martin,
Davis Martin, Liam Lloyd,
Will Martin, Noah Austin
and Artie Segars.
The family will receive
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Friday
from 12 p.m. until the ser-
