Pauline Rondeau, a Haverhill resident, age 75, died on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Penacook Place in Haverhill. She was the beloved companion of Rose Berube for over the last 40 years.
Born in Lowell on January 22, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Violette (Boucher) and Raymond Rondeau. For many years she worked at Raytheon as a drafting assistant.
Pauline loved cooking and playing bingo. In her spare time, she always loved fixing things, whether it be wallpapering, painting or construction.
People tended to gravitate towards Pauline and her kind, reliable and approachable demeanor. Everyone always had a kind word to say about her.
In addition to her best friend, Rose and Rose’s son, Robert Berube, his husband, Jeffrey Cilcus and their son, Aidan Berube, Pauline is survived by her niece, Paularae Rondeau and her husband, Ethan; her nephews, Moe and John Rondeau; her friend, Mark Chouinard; her great-nieces and great-nephews and her sister-in-law, Diane Rondeau.
She was the sister of the late Maurice Rondeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pauline’s Funeral Service on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 12 PM at ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY CHAPEL, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
