Piney became an Avon lady for Elk City, Dixie and all around for 10 years. All the ladies would watch for her Subaru on delivery days.

Seven years ago, Dan sold their property and home in Elk City to move her to Lewiston, so that she would be closer to the hospital and her doctors.

She knew and loved the Lord, and was she was a member of the Bible study group. The group was also the quilting club that made Quilts of Valor and Quilts of Honor. They made Piney a quilt, even though she was not a vet. They all signed it with love.
