Payton and I became instant friends on the first day he arrived in Austin, Tx a few years ago. Out of all the places he could go, he chose to hangout at the restaurant that was my 2nd job and sat at one of my tables. I always said there was a reason he came into my life when he did and vice versa because of this amazing bond we shared. Id like to say we both needed each other at the time. Payton quickly became a brother I never had. I would just like his family and friends to know that although I didnt fully understand why he was here, I helped him in anyway I could. I let him stay in my apartment which was a safe place for him here, I took him to job interviews or anywhere he needed to go and he was just as great of a friend in return. He helped me in school (he was brilliant), took care of my dog and helped with chores when I had to work, and taught me so much about myself. We were both young and quite honestly, we had the time of our lives! We took care of each other and I will never ever forget the memories we shared. He was so special to me, and so special in many ways. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to all of his loved ones...
