Pearl L. (Burdette) Avena, born January 30, 1935. Passed peacefully at 90 years young in her residence with her family by her side on September 15, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Burdette; loving husband, Joseph Avena; Brothers: Bob, Chuck, Russ, Bill (Pete), Jimboy; Sisters: Elsie and Betty; Sons in-law: Mark Lyle and Brian Rudd; Long-time family Friends: Nick and Ann Nichols.
She is survived by her daughters: Toni, Roxane (Eddie Lee), Terri (Greg); Grandchildren: Jessica, Taniya (Doug), Tony (Diana), and Katie (Brandon); Great-Grandchildren: Sean, Nicholas, Naveya, Cameron, and Eric; Brother: Terry (Vanda); and many nieces and nephews here and in New Mexico.
Spent her youth soaking up the sun, was a lifetime euchre player. She also always thought she was “right”, just ask her. She retired from JC Direct then used her time to enjoy family.
Friends and Family may attend calling hours at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 from 4-6pm on September 27, 2025.
