Born in the picturesque Spicy Hill, Trelawny, Jamaica, W.I., Pearl was the cherished daughter of the late Ethel Thelphia and Prince Spencer. Her life was a testament to strength, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity.
Pearl was a devoted member of the Faith SDA Church in Hartford, CT, where she faithfully served as both an usher and a deaconess for over 40 years, touching countless lives with her warm spirit and dedication. Her commitment to her faith was mirrored by her remarkable capacity for giving, often lending her talents as a seamstress to create clothes and assist with packing barrels for humanitarian aid in disaster-stricken areas. She was truly a humanitarian at heart, always ready to extend a helping hand.
Pearl's life was rich with diverse passions; she was an avid traveler, a talented seamstress whose creations brought joy to many, a dedicated nurse's aide, and an amazing cook whose dishes were legendary among family and friends. She was predeceased by her eight siblings and her eldest son, and leaves behind to cherish her memory eight loving children, along with a host of adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kind and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
