Pearly Rudin

Pearly Rudin, age 89, former Edina resident, passed away on June 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Rose Schwartz, and daughter Mary Beth Monsour. She is survived by her son Joel (Carmen), granddaughter Amy Morone, and sister Gail Katz. Pearly was raised and lived in the Twin Cities, and for a few years in Silver Spring, MD. She was the head librarian at Methodist Hospital for 28 years. She loved cooking, gardening, travel, show tunes, and especially books. She was the senior cousin to multiple younger ones, and they always stayed with her when they visited. Pearly was very witty and quick with a pun, and very determined. She had countless friends, and will truly be missed. In lieu of flowers, feel free to plant one in her name. Graveside service 11:00 AM Sunday, June 9 at B'Nai Emet Cemetery (enter off of 72nd and Penn), Richfield. Shiva 7 PM at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane W, Minnetonka.
