Pedro Pablo Quintero (Pop), age 86, passed away on July 13th 2025 in Palm Harbor, Florida, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on February 6th 1939 in Bogota, Colombia, Pedro was the son of Leovijildo and Rosa Delia Quintero. He graduated from San Tander in Fusa, Colombia and went on to earn his Doctorate's in Mechanical Engineering and served as a renowned Master Mechanic for the Colombian Government. Pedro married Ana Beatriz in 1960 and together they shared 65 years of marriage raising a loving family. In 1969 he arrived in Staten Island, New York with his family and established Pedro's Auto Center which operated successfully for the next 20 years.
Pedro was known as a devoted family man who loved to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Friends and family will remember him for his generosity and loving nature.
Pedro is survived by his wife Ana Beatriz, his children Pedro, Orlando, William, Luis, and Treyvon, his grandchildren Little Pedro, Christopher, Alex, Benjamin, Tara, Billy, Lindsey, Samantha, Valerie, Julie, Jessica, Reina, Yessenia, and Delilah, and many great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on July 18th 2025 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, beginning at 10:00 am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pedro's life.
