On Wednesday, June 29, 2022 Margaret "Peg" Buggey, loving wife and mother of three, passed away at the age of 88.
Peg was born February 12, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to Herman and Anna Ottenbacher. On May 22, 1954 she married Russell A. Buggey, cherishing 60 years of marriage while raising their three children Thomas, Diane, and Joanne.
Peg graduated from Olney High School class of 1952 where she was active in a girls sorority, building lifetime friendships with the members. She was an active member of the First German Sports Club Phoenix and Northampton Senior Center. Peg was an avid reader, sharing her love of books with others. She enjoyed crafting gifts for family and friends, oftentimes making crafts- just because. Peg enjoyed helping others as an active volunteer in various organizations like Aid for Friends, Ronald McDonald House, Northampton Senior Center and Southampton Kiwanis Club.
Peg is survived by her Son-Thomas R. Buggey and his wife Barbara; Daughters- Diane M. Becker and husband David Becker, and Joanne P. Heim. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966 followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Her interment will be private. A Celebration of Peg and Russ's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in Peg's memory may be made to: ASPCA https://www.aspca.org/ways-to-give; the Ronald McDonald House https://support.rmhc.org/site/SPageNavigator/pw/Donation_Landing.htm; and the First German Sports Club Phoenix, 301 W Bristol Rd, Trevose, PA 19053.
