Peggie Manning, a loving spirit whose laughter resonated through the hearts of many, departed from this world on January 15, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on August 29, 1941, in the charming town of Marshall, Texas, Peggie's journey began beneath the expansive skies of her hometown, where she embraced life with an unwavering enthusiasm and a magnetic charm.
Her formative years were spent at Rosenwall Community School in Marshall, where she not only attended but graduated from first grade through to twelfth grade. It was during these impressionable years that Peggie garnered a profound appreciation for learning, friendship, and the values that would guide her heart for the remainder of her days.
Peggie's essence was defined by her radiant personality—an amalgamation of kindness, sarcastic humor, and a delightful wit that sparkled, particularly around family. She possessed a remarkable ability to bring joy into every moment, often making even the mundane seem exhilarating with her sarcastic quips and playful banter. Her loving nature left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, creating memories that will forever linger in the fabric of her loved ones' lives.
A visitation is scheduled to honor Peggie's life, welcoming all who wish to pay their respects on January 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 5701 East Loop 820 South in Fort Worth, Texas. This will be followed by a heartfelt funeral service, commencing at 12:00 PM and concluding at 1:00 PM at the same venue.
As we gather to celebrate her extraordinary life, we will remember Peggie not just for her warmth and kindness but for the laughter and love she shared so freely. Her legacy is one of joy, compassion, and the profound understanding that family and humor are among life's greatest gifts. She will be deeply missed, yet forever cherished in the hearts she touched.
