Peggy Ann Anderson, 84, of Farina, passed away at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital on January 2nd, 2026. She was born to Charles and Margaret (Bittner) Clark on April 11th, 1941, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She would marry William "Bill" Anderson on September 12th, 1964, at the Moon Run Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania and they would spend 61 amazing years together.

She is survived by her four daughters: Leslie (Steve) Sutter of Shumway, Illinois, Lisa (Bradley) Heilenman of Culpeper, Virginia, Jennifer Anderson of Charleston, Illinois, and Jill (John) Branyan of Decatur, Illinois; two grandsons: Benjamin Heilenman and Timothy Heilenman of Culpeper, Virginia; two brothers: Charles (Bernice) Clark of Ohio and Robert (Merideth) Clark of Tennessee; two sisters: Linda (Jim) Drexler of Pennsylvania and Cyndi Clark (Chuck Hendzel) of Pennsylvania; and two nephews: Danny Drexler and David Drexler.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Margaret Clark; husband: William Anderson; and son: Edward Anderson.

Peggy was a dedicated member of the Farina United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime member of the UMC Women's Club and sang in the choir. She had a love of flowers and plants, reading books, and listening to music on the radio. She had the talent of sewing, which she used to make dresses for her daughters. She loved to travel with her husband, Bill. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday January 6th, 2026, at the Farina United Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin Kriesel officiating. Burial will follow at the Farina Cemetery. A time of visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of service at the Farina UMC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Farina United Methodist Church and will be accepted at the service or at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97, Salem, Illinois 62881.
