Peggy Jo Brissette (Penrod)
Born January 28,1946
Went home to the Lord November 3, 2025
She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Mary McMaster and her three brothers
John (Joan) Penrod, Gene Penrod and Larry (Donna) Penrod.
Peggy is survived by her 3 children,
Steven (Susie) Villarreal, Shelly Villarreal and Niki Villarreal (DeWayne Rappuhn).
Grandchildren, John A. Peek, Karissa (Joey) Yudasz, Joshua Lamb, Kayley Villarreal (Nicole Zainea), Samantha Lamb and her great grandson Jaxon Yudasz.
Peggy graduated from Waterford Kettering in 1964. She hired in at General Motors starting on the line. Peggy went to college so she could advance to Skilled Trades. Mom retired from Skilled Trades at the Warren Tech Center after 30+ years. Peggy was able to take on any tasks that needed to be done at home including building, electrical and plumbing.
Throughout the years Mom had many hobbies, sewing costumes and clothes for her children. Creating a garden either at her own home or at one of kid's houses. Any day of the week, if she wasn't home, her love of fishing would take her down to the lake. Her compassion for animals was extraordinary. She would always bring home animals that were in need. Peggy enjoyed watching the deer in her back yard and putting food for the hummingbirds and Orioles.
Peggy could always be counted on to bring her famous seven-layer salad and Rhubarb Pie for all our holidays.
Mom will be missed by many. She enjoyed time with her friends going to the Casino and the hamburgers at the PLI. Peggy loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her generosity will always be remembered.
God received a special Angel.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
