I am deeply saddened to hear of Peggy's passing, and her long struggle with dementia. I knew her through work and the Association for Documentary Editing. She was of tremendous help to my project, the Papers of Benjamin Franklin, when Laurens and Franklin interests overlapped. And she was often my meal companion at ADE conferences. No one could ever have had a more delightful tablemate. We would often sneak off for a swim in the hotel pool during the conferences. We shared a love of the water and many good chats about work, home, and family matters during intervals between laps.
