In Loving Memory of Peggy Kathleen Clark

Sunrise: February 28, 1948 – Sunset: September 24, 2025

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the world lost a fierce advocate, a tireless worker, and a deeply loving soul. Dementia may have taken her body, but it could never dim the light she brought to those around her.

Peggy was a vibrant force-active, passionate, and unwavering in her pursuit of justice. She stood up for the underdog, not for recognition or reward, but because it was simply the right thing to do. Her integrity was matched only by her work ethic. She led by example, never asking her staff to do anything she wouldn't do herself, often taking on the toughest tasks so others wouldn't have to.

Camp was her sanctuary and her mission. Through Northeast Kiwanis and Camps for Kids, she worked tirelessly to ensure every child had the chance to experience the joy and growth that camp brings. It was just one of the many ways she gave of herself to others.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. When Kenner was born, she was there-steadfast and loving. Their bond was something special: shooting hoops in the driveway, breakfast at Hogan's, or sharing apple pie in the morning, always with laughter echoing through the house.

To me, she was my fiercest advocate. She believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. Her support was constant, her love unconditional. I miss her more than words can express, but I know she's reunited with her beloved dogs, family, and friends-yes, dogs first. She was the kind of person who greeted the dog before the human, always knowing their name before their owner's.

In lieu of flowers, a link will be shared to support Kenner's Special Olympics team. Watching him in his element brought her immeasurable joy, and she would be deeply grateful for your help in continuing to support him and the community that meant so much to her.
