Peggy Daniels Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Affinity Memorial Chapel - Columbus on Mar. 7, 2024.
Peggy Ann Daniels, age 65, passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024. Peggy was born in Magnolia, Arkansas, on February 15th, 1959. She was adopted and raised by her grandparents, Murtha and Tom Daniels, in Dallas, TX, where she received her early childhood education. She completed her schooling at Southview High School in Lorain, OH. Where she went on to be a care giver. Peggy's greatest joy was being a mother to her children and the best grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved shopping, listening to music, and watching old sitcoms such as "Sanford and Son," "The Andy Griffith Show," and "The Golden Girls." Peggy's signature look included always wearing her sunglasses; she didn't wait for the sun to throw shade but brought her own darkness wherever she went. Her stylish eyewear became a defining feature of her personality, adding a touch of mystery and sophistication to her ensemble. Those left to celebrate her life are her sons, Waylon and Alex Daniels, and her only daughter, Martha Daniels. Grandchildren Dé Asia Martin, De Vign Herrell, De'Monta Daniels, Rickey Anderson, and Alex Jr., Jayla, Ayden,Averie, and Ava Daniels. Great-grandchildren Zachary Mason Jr. and Stoney Thompson Jr. Sister Denise Harris, brothers Lonnie and John Harris, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Harris, and father, Tom Daniels, grandmother Murtha Daniels, brothers James, Jimmy, and Wayne Harris, sisters Thelma Bland, Barbara Moore, and Regina Harris.
