For me, Peggie, it's so hard to find the words to say goodbye. For six years, you weren't just my client; you were one of my first friends when I arrived in Illinois.
I'm going to miss our monthly appointments so much. Those hours filled with laughter, trying to understand each other even though we didn't speak the same language. Our "funny" conversations and our Selena singing sessions are memories I will forever cherish in my heart.
I will never, ever forget the time you showed up at my door with that unforgettable bouquet of flowers made from a shoe. You had gone somewhere else because I was sick, and you came to apologize! Your words, "You're my favorite, I'm never leaving again," are etched in my memory.
I still have those flowers, and now I will keep them as my greatest treasure, in memory of your loyalty and your incredible spirit. Thank you for your friendship, for your joy, and for showing me that true connections don't need words.
I will always miss you. Thank you for so many memories.
With all my love,
Alizia
