Peggy Inman, 74, of Grand Island, NE died on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. There will be no burial as her wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held in April.
Peggy was born on December 15, 1951, in Grand Island, NE to Homer and Dorothy (Warner) Killham. She grew up in Grand Island, NE and graduated in 1970 at Senior High.
She was united in marriage to Gerald Inman of Clinton, OK in 1981. They later divorced in 2015. They had two children together. She then found her lasting love, Merle Applegate, of LeMars, IA. The two began dating in 2018 and were together until her last breath.
Peggy enjoyed the little things in life that involved her family and friends. She loved camping, word search puzzles, diamond art, and was a huge animal lover.
She is survived by her companion, Merle Applegate; children: Lonnie Lautenschlager, D.J. Inman, and Kayla Inman; grandchildren: Kenslie Drake, Aubrey Drake, Bailey Drake, Caden Sickler, and Logan Lautenschlager; and brother, Butch Killham.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Dorothy Killham and her sister, Nancy Hetrick.
