Peggy Joyce Longson

Peggy Joyce Longson passed away at the age 82 on February 26, 2024, in Lafayette, Colorado.
She was born on November 22, 1941, in Heber, Utah to Glen D. Wardle and Thora Peterson Wardle.
Peggy grew up in Utah and was one of 13 children born to Glen and Thora. She loved to tell
stories of her time growing up in the Salt Lake Valley with her siblings.
Mom married the love of her life, Larry Longson in Elko, Nevada.
Mom enjoyed a western lifestyle, with a little rock and roll too. She was always dressed with a western flair. Some of her favorite music was Paul McCartney and Wings, Neil Diamond, and country classics. She loved tending to the horses, (she adored animals), time spent with Larry in
the outdoors in Wyoming and flying. They shared many flights to Elko, Evanston, and Salt Lake.
Mom loved to crochet colorful blankets for her family, do word search puzzles, and would read the newspaper front to back every day. She was always in for a few rounds of bingo.
Most of all, Mom loved to be around family, and was especially delighted to spend time with her children, and grandchildren. She was a great supporter of all of her family in everything they did. Mom loved to share in conversation, reminisce about the good old days, and had the best sense of humor. Mom made friends everywhere she went, welcomed everyone into her circle, and left an indelible mark on their hearts.
Heaven has gained a true angel! We love you deeply mom and miss you dearly!
Peggy is survived by her children, Sandra Enriquez, Deana Paluso, (Mitchell), Joseph Reynolds, (Chantel), Jennifer Curry, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her surviving siblings.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Larry Longson, and her son Charles Longson.
