Peggy Lee McFarland, aged 82, of Louisville KY, passed away, Thursday August, 15th, 2024. She was born December 15th, 1941, in Byrdstown Tennessee, to the late Clarence and Dora Storie. After attending school Peggy went on to dedicate her life to serving others. Peggy worked by day as a home health provider going from residence to residence tending to the needs of those who couldn’t care for themselves. After working her shift in the morning, she would then come home change into her scrubs and head to Kindred Healthcare Bashford Manor East. She served as a CNA at Kindred for over 46 years until it closed its doors. She loved cardinals and hand fed one for over six years. She was an animal lover; her fur babies, her dog Conner, and her cats Emmet and Truffle, held a special place in her heart. Peggy was a loving wife, compassionate mother, and devoted friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip R. McFarland and her parents.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Beloved daughter, Lisa Gittli and her son-in-law Howard Gittli whom she adored, and her precious fur babies.
