Peggy Ann Milner, 85, of Greenville, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 22, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. until service time.

Peggy was born on August 16, 1940 to Robert Elmer Harrison Jr. and Ruby Elizabeth Glasscock Harrison in Merit, Texas. She attended school in Bland where she enjoyed playing basketball. She graduated from Quinlan High School in 1958. Peggy married John H. Milner on August 23, 1957 and together they had five children who she adored.

Peggy made many lifelong friends during her years of employment at various locations in and around Greenville, most notably at Mary of Puddin Hill where she enjoyed sampling the delicious sweets. She retired from Celeste ISD and moved near her parents in the Dulaney community. Following the deaths of her parents she moved to Greenville where she became an active member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Peggy's greatest legacy are her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Donna Dickeson, Tom Milner (Susanne), Karen Armstrong (Paul), John R. Milner (Sharon) and Cindy Thomas (Steve); Grandchildren Stefanie Scroggins (Dennis), Stacie Dickeson (Michael Roden), Alex Milner, Brandon Milner (Traci) Caitlin Milner, David Milner (Maddy), Jennifer Crossley, Sara Slinkard (Josh), Jared Milner, Hayden Dunlap (Brooklyn) and bonus grandchildren Seth Thomas, Sharlena Armstrong and Mila Quarterman; Great grandchildren Rylan Pope, Lorelei Pope, Ty Scroggins, Wilder Roden, Jaxson Clinkenbeard, Izabelle Clinkenbeard, Logan Clinkenbeard, Kinsley Milner, Averi Milner, Cade Crossley, Grant Phillips, Harley Phillips, C J Slinkard, and Luke Slinkard; sister, Sandra Hughes and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carolyn Patterson and brothers Kenneth Harrison and Mark Harrison.
