Services for Peggy LaDean Parks, 77, of Ada will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at Cedar Grove Free Will Baptist Church; Rev. Richard Bailey and Rev. Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Parks passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Ada. She was born April 6, 1948, in Ada to Dean Don and Florence Selma Clark Lee.

On June 25, 1976, she married the love of her life, James Edward Parks. She began her first business creating cement yard ornaments and later found great joy in raising cats through her cattery, Kathaven Kattery. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Parks worked as farmers and ranchers, tending cattle, pecans, and gardens. They also operated their family business-first as Parks-Nickerson Plumbing and later as Parks Plumbing, Heating and Air-and maintained several rental properties over the years.

Of all her endeavors, she most cherished spending time camping and fishing with her grandchildren, creating memories they will always hold dear. She was a longtime member of Oakman Free Will Baptist Church and later joined Cedar Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was also active in the Ada TOPS group, where she proudly achieved KOPS status.

Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; daughter, Redenia Douglas and husband, Skip, of Francis; brother, Lynn Lee, of Francis; grandchildren, Casey Haynes and husband, Cody, Dean Douglas and wife, Ashlee, Shyanna Sloan and husband, Landon, and Jayden Douglas; and great grandchildren, Lexi, Rylee, Brody, Aubree, Kurtis, Emma, Noah, Corbin, Owen, Miles, and Reid.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Connie Spence.

Bearers will be Skip Douglas, Dean Douglas, Cody Haynes, Landon Sloan, Brody Douglas, and Kurtis Douglas.
