Peggy Pittman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rupp Funeral Home - St. Joseph on Jan. 23, 2026.
Peggy Ann Pittman (Knipe) passed peacefully into the lord's arms surrounded by family on January 21, 2026.

Born August 12, 1956 to Dee and Fred Knipe, she spent most of her youth going to concerts, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying life to its fullest. She loved spending time with her sister and shared many stories about the time they spent together growing up.

She married her partner in crime, Elton, in October of 1983 after a whirlwind romance of adventure and excitement. Of whom, she spent the rest of his life with before he passed away in 2022.

After a brief career at Ryder, which she often reflected on, she took on the job she enjoyed the most, a mother to her children. A career in which she would tell anyone was the most fulfilling job she ever had.

She cherished life, her husband, her children, and her grandson more than anything else. Except maybe her dog, Cooper, of which could do no wrong.

She will be missed by anyone who met her, and loved by everyone who knew her. She would want everyone to remember to believe in the lord, and trust in his plan. And above all, remember her favorite verse, John 3:16.

Ms. Pittman has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to American Cancer Society.
