Peggy was my mothers best friend for 58 years. I just gave away my and Donna´s age. Mom and Peggy met when they both had two boys close to the same age and were both expecting (both girls). Mom, Martha, had a sister named Peggy. Anytime she said Peggy, it had to be followed by my sister Peggy or my friend Peggy. Peggy was more than a friend to mom, she was also a sister.
Peggy was like an aunt to me. She was my first piano teacher and my favorite piano teacher.
A year didn´t go by that mom didn´t ask me what should I get Peggy for her birthday or what should I get Peggy for Christmas. It usually was something that had to do with Coca-Cola or the color red.
I have never known anyone so soft spoken, gentle and kind as Peggy.
Over the years I have had Peggy and mom over for lunch on the patio. For mom`s birthday I would get tickets for her and Peggy to come to a fashion show held by the Springfield a Art Museum. Peggy always sent a beautifully hand written note of thanks. She was a woman of grace and charm.
I have so many memories of Peggy. It is hard to believe she is no longer with us. Heaven has truly welcomed in the most beautiful angel.
Rest In Peace, beautiful Peggy.

Heaven has truly gained another Angel. Peggy was my Sunday School teacher when I was a little girl at Bethel Baptist Church where my Dad pastored. So very many wonderful memories during that time. Don was the pitcher on our Church softball team, and Monday evenings, during the summer were spent at the local ballparks and what fun it was! Peggy was such a beautiful and kind Christian lady and she will be missed terribly. My prayers are with Gary, Mike, Donna and the entire Pringle family. I'm thinking that my Dad & Mom and Don & Peggy are reminiscing about the good old Bethel Baptist days.
