Peggy Jean Ryan

Nettleton-Peggy Jean (Parker) Ryan, 83, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2025 at The Simerson House at Traceway Retirement Community in Tupelo. She was born on February 24, 1943 in Lee County to parents Isom Delmer Parker and Lizzie Mae (Buse) Parker. She lived most of her life in Lee County, the last six years were spent at The Simerson House. She was of the Pentecostal faith. When she was able she enjoyed being a homemaker. Peggy always looked nice, her hair, make-up and jewelry were always perfect. She had a sense of style and enjoyed wearing brightly colored clothing. She will be missed deeply by her family.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 1 pm at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Nettleton, MS with Bro. John Cagle officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Lee County.

Visitation will be prior to service at the funeral home from 11 am-1 pm.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Stevie Humble (Gail), Jeff Humble, two grandsons, Ty Humble (Kayla), Tyler Humble (Rebekah), six great grandchildren, Drew Humble. Peyton Humble, Chloe Humble, Paxton Humble, Brayden Humble, Ava Claire Humble, one great great grandchild, Baker Humble and serveral nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Stanley Humble, one special grandson, Justin Humble and 10 siblings.
