I am very saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs.Loop. She and my grandmother, Mrs. Harriett Hillie, who was a Home Economics teacher at Vetal Middle School, were fellow educators and close friends for decades. They had the greatest respect for one another and viewed each other as not just co-workers or friends, but sisters. She was a cherished family friend to us all and we will miss her dearly!

In 1963, my cousin Peggy´s family moved next door to us in Conway. She was like my big sister. After her parents (my aunt Mattie and uncle George) died when Peggy was in her early twenties, my Mom (her aunt Sallijane) and Dad (Audie) lovingly took on a special role in her life.
We were thrilled when Peggy met and married George! We were sad that Peggy left Arkansas, but know she found great joy with her Loop family in Michigan.
