Penny was born in Gilmer, Texas on October 6, 1967, to Tex and Betty Alexander. She graduated from Longview High School and continued to live in the Longview area all of her life. Penny's love for traveling with her family brought countless joyful moments, leaving behind lasting memories filled with love and laughter. In her later years she enjoyed spur-of-the-moment trips and shopping with her sister. Her favorite time of the year was from fall through Christmas. She loved decorating for every holiday, but her all-time favorite was Christmas. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate or support her children or grandchildren. When Penny loved, she loved big– and those she loved felt it every day. She had a bubbly, adventurous personality-unpredictably in the best way, always leaving you curious about what came next. She loved her dog, Deacon.

Penny was preceded in death by her dad Tex Alexander, her grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and a special double first cousin, Susan. Those left to cherish their memories of Penny include her husband of 28 years Mike "Pug" Keys; her mom Betty Alexander; her son Christopher Cody Sartain and wife Jamey Sartain their children/ her grandchildren Brylen, Cohen, Gaige, Brinklee, Journie, and Paislee, her son Zach Keys; her daughter Melissa Keys and wife Heather Keys and their children/ her grandchildren Kelsey Keys and Dade Keys; her son Mychal "Bud" Keys and his wife Jessica Keys and their children/ her grandchildren Michael Keys and Madison Keys; her sister Cynthia Nicholson Brown and husband Greg Brown, brother Ricky Alexander, brother Stanley Alexander and companion Bonnie Lee. Followed with multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends Traci Lambert, Tina Richardson, and Angie Brooks.

Our family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming outpour of love and support during this difficult time.
