Penny Sue Messinger

Penny Sue Messinger, age 44 of Conowingo, MD passed away on March 26, 2018. She was born on December 16, 1973 in Havre de Grace, MD to Franklin Richard Messinger and Darlene O. (Higby) Stephens. Penny was a happy and go lucky woman who had a heart of gold. She was always thinking of others and was always there for them when they needed her most. She loved her two sons: Anthony and Gilbert and she adored her dog, Tiger who she considered one of her sons. Penny also loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and the rest of her family. Penny is survived by her mother, Darlene Stephens and her husband, Keith; father, Franklin Messinger and his wife, Mary Lou; fiance, Gilbert McDaniel, Sr.; sons: Anthony McDaniel and Gilbert McDaniel, Jr.; four grandchildren: Charlie, Cameron, Lacey, and Letty; siblings: Darlene Midcap, Jeff Messinger, Vern Messinger, Peter Messinger, and Jamie Messinger; her dog, Tiger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
