Penny Richards Obituary
Penny was a devoted wife, mother, and cherished family member whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She made her home in Virginia Beach, where she shared her life with her family, and worked as a dedicated member of the Virginia Beach school's nutrition team.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John A. Richards, Jr.; her cherished children, Robert Wilkinson and Samantha Wilkinson; and her loving sister, Shannon Deaton. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mattie Jane Bull.
She is also survived by her stepchildren, Ashley Hill (Aaron), John Richards III (Sarah), and Lindsay Braade (Jesse), and seven step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Penny's memory to the COPD Foundation (www.copdfoundation.org). A service to celebrate Penny's life will be held Saturday, January 10th, at 2:00 p.m., at Bayside Chapel, located at 1457 Independence Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23455
