Penny was a devoted daughter born to Elias and Evangelia Vitoroulis, loving wife to Andreas Protopapas, adored sister to Nick and Frank Vitoroulis, and a cherished mother to her sons, Nikitas and Elias Pahountis.
Penny was a radiant spirit - full of love, energy, and generosity. She raised her sons during their childhood years in Karpathos, Greece, where their childhood was nothing short of magical - filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories with their beloved parents. Later, when it came time for high school and college, Penny made the journey with her boys to New Jersey, USA, where she continued to support them every step of the way with unwavering love and strength.
Penny had a deep love for the outdoors - whether walking, swimming, eating or just driving around, or enjoying the sunshine at the beach. Her heart belonged to Karpathos, where she found peace and happiness among lifelong friends. Known as one of the most social and selfless people anyone could meet, Penny lived for the happiness of others and always gave more than she received.
She began her working life in her parents' diner and later built a career as a sales associate, most recently with Kohler GPS Company. Her greatest joys were dancing, spending time with family, and making sure everyone around her was smiling. Penny left this world as she lived - peacefully, surrounded by love. Her light and legacy will forever shine through her sons and all who were lucky enough to know her.
